Visually Validation of Camera Alignment
« on: January 05, 2016, 09:47:54 PM »
I have too many cameras looking at an object from random directions.  I want to be able to step through each camera in the Workspace displaying the model overlaid on top of the camera image as the background from the same view point.  It would then be visually obvious when that camera is not aligned properly and would enable me to easily realign that individual camera (or at least try to....)

This would be brilliant.

There is more support for it here:
Is there any way to check each cameras alignment in PS?
Ie, 'look through' the camera, but also show the image in the background and the Tie Point cloud overlaid so I can see if there is an obvious error?

and here:
In the model viewer, ability to look through a camera, and switch on the undistorted image as a backplate, with ability to vary the backplate transparency and depth from camera (using scrollwheel?) to intersect the model and check accuracy.

Probably elsewhere if i kept searching the forum.
