How To Lower RAM & CPU Usage

hi
I have 12 large image (8000*14000 pixel); but want to used region (1500*1500 pixel) of each image;
can mask them or ...; for reduce the calculations.
my computer configuration: core i5 - 4GB Ram

Hello geonews,

If you use masks, only unmasked area of the images will be used for the processing.

Also you can use lower accuracy/quality values during processing, it will act similar to the downscaling of the original images.
