Photogrammetry & Laser scanner matching
« on: January 23, 2016, 11:37:28 AM »
Hi all,
is there anybody who knows if there is a method for doublecheck phogrammetry with laser scanner?

I mean: I have low reso data from laserscanner and very detailed data from photogrammetry campaign. I'd like to know if there is a method for matching, doublechecking and/or realigning photogrammetry data using the pointcloud or mesh that comes from a laser scanner survey.

Thanks in advance!
Alessandro

Hi Alessandro,
definetly check out Cloudcompare. It has some awesome tools for deviation analysis between pointclouds/ meshes.
http://cloudcompare.org/

I use it all the time for aligning and comparing different pointclouds, it gives you a visualisation and different statistics.
