Version 1.2.2 is available now and there shouldn't be any problems with the point cloud export.

I'm getting an error message when exporting some, not all, point clouds to .e57 and other formats.  The export reaches 99% and then the error pops up,"Can't write points:" and lists my file directory and filename.  It's done this on several projects, some that are georeferenced, some as local coordinates, both big and small.  This only started after the update.  I have 640gb free space on a 1tb internal hard drive.  I'm using an Asus laptop with an I7, 8gb RAM and a GeForce 840m on Windows 10.  Not an ideal machine I know but this is the first time I've had any real issues exporting data.  Anyone else having similar issues or has a suggested solution?

Please install the latest release version (1.2.2).

The workaround for the version 1.2.1 was to extend the bounding box limits before exporting.

When trying to export in .las format I get an error messsage and the .las file that is created does not work (is way too small for a file of that size).

Screen shot is attached.

I have tried with both the coordinate system and the local coordinate export - neither works. Need to have it with the coordinate system since importing into CAD to compare to prior survey data.

Has anyone encountered this problem before?

Hello Travis,

Please install version 1.2.3 or extend the bounding box prior to the export. This issue has been fixed in the latest release already.
