Export markers - ticked coordinates
« on: February 15, 2016, 08:43:04 PM »
Hi All,

Does anyone know a way to export the marker coordinates (projected! not over the photos)?
I need the coordinates of the ticked point over the dense cloud or the orthophoto. (LLA or XYZ, in the same reference system as the model).

Is it possible?

Sounds plainly like export estimated values in ref panel by the flopy drive button

Just an additional information.

Careful when converting coordinates before exporting.
I've noticed if we process the dataset with orientation/YPR data, and after applying a conversion to the coordinates, the markers will drift to different positions.

This doesn't happen when we process the dataset using long/lat/alt data only. In this case they stay over the ticked point, but with the new coordinates resultant from the conversion.

Hello jmgc,

Maybe the yaw, pitch, roll angles are not accurately measured, but the camera accuracy in degrees is quite high in the Reference pane settings dialog?

Hello Alexey,

That's probably the cause.
Lately I'm getting much better results without using the attitude data.
For now I can't set a reliable accuracy value because I'm not confident with my attitude data.

Thanks for the input.

Hello jmgc,

You can put very large number to the camera (deg) accuracy field, it this case these angles would use be used with almost zero weights.

I've define a 180deg accuracy to the camera, update the model and generate a new orthophoto.
The result is not equal when compared to the orthophoto generated from a project processed with LLA only, but it's very close (+/-20cm drift).
I rather prefer to reject the attitude data for now, but I'm glad to see the angle accuracy option acting has expected.

Thanks for the contributions.

You can use even greater accuracy value, like thousands or millions.
