DXF import problem
« on: March 03, 2016, 03:05:11 PM »
Hello,

I can't find solution why I don't see shapes (dxf format) after imported to Photoscan.
In ortho view I need to import dxf with closed area drawn by polylines to insert to Orthomosaic view as a boundary for orthomosaic export.

I prepare DXF in AutoCAD in 2010 version. Does it depend on version or sort of software I use?

Where is a problem?

Thanks in advance,
Jacob

are your Polylines 3D?

import of 2D Polylines doesnt work, atm.

I don't use 3D polyline.

I use 2D polyline and level is equal 0.

just convert your 2D Polys to 3D Polylines and reimport them. Then it should work

Hello Jacob,

Can you send an example of such file to support@agisoft.com?

Also which coordinate system you are using?

Hello Jacob,

Thank you. It appears that shape is defined using LWPOLYLINE entity, while PhotoScan currently accepts only POLYLINE option.

Is there a possibility to export DXF file using different representation?

Thank you very much for your helping.

I saved my file as AutoCAD R12/LT2 DXF format (not AutoCAD 2007/LT2004 DXF) and everything is ok.

I think this topic is closed.
