Curved ceiling Orthophoto
« on: March 20, 2016, 06:41:00 PM »
Hi All,

I have a curved ancient ceiling, so my question:
Is there any chance to make it as flat ceiling to generate a perfect Orthophoto to make a 2D Drawing?
actually i did it using another sw but i want to make the camera position relative with my new flat ceiling is it possible, to generate an Orthophoto inside photoscan sw??
Thanks,,

Mohamed

I would just put it in Blender and set an ortho camera at the "focal point" of the curve and then scan the camera across the model, rendering with very small strips. Then combine the strips together using something like ImageMagic. I've done this many times with curved ceilings.
