Network node scripting...
« on: August 28, 2015, 12:44:50 AM »
Really enjoying the power of the python scripting! I recall seeing somewhere that there is pending support for network node processing in an upcoming version... is there an ETA on when that will be available?

I was hoping that simply by saving a chunk as a psx file then it would automatically utilize connected nodes to process, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Thanks,
Troy

This is one of the most needed features for us here at least.

Hello Troy,

Currently no short-terms plan for that, unfortunately.

Hello all,

Just posted similar information to the related threads: in the version 1.2.4 Run Script command has been added to the Batch Process dialog, so now scripts can be run via network processing.

However, it doesn't mean that using functions like matchPhotos(), buildDenseCloud() and etc. in the script will automatically apply the network processing. You can utilize small custom optimization scripts in the batch process, but I suggest to run all the major processing steps using the corresponding Batch Process options.
