Bug with nvidia driver 364.51 ?
« on: March 19, 2016, 07:50:13 PM »
Hello,

I updated my graphic card drivers with the last nvidia whql release (after all the trouble with the two past whql/beta releases, anyway).

It seems that photoscan 1.2.3 is not recognizing my gpu opencl capabilities anymore, while everything seems to be in order through GPU Caps "OpenCL 1.2 CUDA 8.0.0" "364.51".

Am I the only one having trouble ?

Best,

Alexey Pasumansky

Hello nazg,

That seems strange, I've just installed this driver version on the test configuration with GTX 680 and it is correctly recognized by PhotoScan. Maybe you can try clean driver install again?

And another question just for case: aren't you using remote desktop connection?

Ok, I had to switch my gpu pci-e slot because I needed to install another extension card.
And now the OpenCL device is appearing.

I have no idea what could have gone wrong.
