Which Processor is better? 2687W OR 2697?

Hi guys,

I am buying a new workstation - the Supermicro 7048GR-TR  with:

256 GB 2400MHz DDR4
3 * GPU 980TI
Intel® SSD DC P3700 800GB

Which of the two Processors  is better for big Agisoft projects: E5-2697 v4  or  E5 - 2687W V4 ?

Hello David,

I'd suggest to choose the processor with 6-10 physical cores, but with the highest frequency. However, if these are the only two options, 12 core CPU is preferred due to higher CPU frequency.
