RAW image editing with RawTherapee

Hi.

I'm new to the world of photo editing and I have a question about the editing of RAW pictures.
Does anyone use the program RAWTherapaee and can tell me how to edit my pictures for best quality?

When I set it on Auto and export the pictures at 100% jpeg I get for example 700 matching points. When loading the RAW pictures (CR2) into Photoscan I get 2200.

P.S. I want to make 3D Models on the ground. For example Buildings etc.
Does using marker points help with creating the model or is it only for geo referencing?
