import mesh and precalibrated camera
« on: July 06, 2016, 06:23:08 PM »
I would like to texture in Agisoft my mesh built in MeshLab.
I’m able to import precalibrated camera locations using Import Cameras and also I’m able to import mesh but I think mesh is in some random location… so images and mesh are in wrong relation to each other (in attachment correct and wrong relation images to mesh).

Do you know how to correctly import mesh?

Ps. My mesh is in UTM 34S with offset X=484053.977400000 Y=6327080.357700000

Hello Magda,

Are the imported cameras in the same coordinate system as imported mesh?

Maybe you can again send the project file, camera orientation data to be imported and mesh file to support@agisoft.com for detailed investigation?

I think so. My data come from Riegl VZ-2000,  mesh, images and camera orientation and position are in same 'project' coordinates and it's equal to UTM 34S with offset X=484053.977400000 Y=6327080.357700000.

Hello Magda,

Thanks for sending the sample data.

To fix the issue I can suggest to load the camera center coordinates to the Reference pane and press Update button. Currently when the cameras are imported from the bundler.out format the additional translation is applied to the imported data to bring the chunk origin to the point related to the average camera positions.

You are awesome! That was the point.  After huge fight finally I am able to bring my oriented lidar data with mounted on top camera into Agisoft! Once again thank you.

Hi to everyone, especially to Magda,
How did you actually import camera positions from Agisoft to MeshLab?
I can't...do that now after x years from your post...don't know how...even MeshLab offer option to apply cameras from Agisoft xml.
Thanks :)
