Script for disable overlap camera more than 3 or 4
« on: August 02, 2016, 12:38:08 AM »
Dear Agisoft team,

Is it possible to do a script for me to disable camera positions which contains more than 4 or 5 overlap surrounded every one image.
I work with a project have approx. 22k images and in some areas there's too many cameras overlapping on each other and that's i guss effect on final ortho photo so the final result was bullry on these area, so i think it's better to disable some cameras but it will be time consuming to do it manual.

Thank you
Mohammed

Hello Mohammed,

The procedure of disabling the images leaving only certain level of overlap is not easy to implement, since all the image are interrelated and disabling/removing one image will have effect on the complete project and the result may depend on the order of the camera disabling, while calculating all the possible combinations will take very long time.

In principle, it is possible to select/disable cameras that have more than N overlapping images (those that have more than certain number of tie points with them), but I doubt that disabling all those cameras will give you the desired result, as applying of such script will disable all the photos in the areas of the excessive overlap.

Oky!
So is it possible to let me try this script it may work, i dont aim to diable all the images but some of these which give me a very blurry effect in final Ortho photo!
In snap shot shows you the amount of overlapping images in such small area!

Thank you,,
