Import mask fails for more then one camera
« on: July 13, 2016, 05:01:24 PM »
Hello

I want to apply the same mask file for all the cameras in my project.
When I use Import Masks (method: From File, Operation: Replacement, Apply to: Selected cameras, Filename template: -) I get the error that it "Can't load image: C:\folder_mask/". I can only choose the folder and no file I want to import. It works when I select only one camera and import then the mask as a JPEG.  Can you tell me how I can fix that? Because I don't want to do the import of the mask for every single picture.

Best regards!

Hello taeffer,

What are you using on input in the Filename template field? And also please post a filename example for any camera in your project and corresponding mask image.

the filenames for the cameras are 242000003.png, 242100003.png, ... for the corresponding mask image I use the name 242000003_mask.jpeg. The Filename template field is {filename}_mask.jpeg.

I wan't to apply the 242000003_mask.jpeg file for most of the cameras in my chunk.

- Now it works when I copy the 242000003_mask.jpeg file with the name 242100003_mask.jpeg. But I don't want to define a seperate mask-file for every camera.

Hello taeffer,

If you want to apply the same mask for all cameras, then you don't need to use {filename} macros and just type in the full name of the file with the mask you wish to apply: 242000003_mask.jpeg
