AMD Radeon OpenCL
« on: July 12, 2016, 09:13:41 PM »
I have created my first model in photoscan Demo, I have activated the Radeon R390 with its Hawaii 40 Cores under the OpenCL settings and reduced the active CPU cores from 8 to six.

When I perform calculations like building the dense cloud unfortunately I don't see any load on the GPU

Are AMD Radeon GPUs used by Photoscan?

Thanks for helping

Hello GrinGEO,

Can you provide the conole pane output related to the dense cloud processing stage?

it seems to have recognized it...

OpenGL Vendor: ATI Technologies Inc.
OpenGL Renderer: AMD Radeon (TM) R9 390 Series
OpenGL Version: 4.5.13431 Compatibility Profile Context 16.150.2401.0
Maximum Texture Size: 16384

but I still see no load in the MSI GPU monitor

Hello GrinGEO,

I mean the log related to the dense cloud generation process, so just start Build Dense Cloud operation on any project in any quality (providing that your graphic card is checked on in the OpenCL tab) and then copy the console pane output.
