markers not coordinate
« on: July 25, 2016, 10:35:21 AM »
Hi,

I try to create a 3D model of a building, but each faces are very similar and agisoft get confused. It was done with a Gopro so the picture don't have any coordinate.
I'm not looking at creating an accurate scaled model but I would be interested to fix one dimension (length of the building 15m) I tried to had some markers on each photo but after I don't know what to do...

Do I need some coordinate for the markers?
Accuracy?
Align photos: which parameter do I use? Generic?

I would appreciate your help.
Regards,
Guillaume

Hello Guillaume,

Usually scale bars should be added after alignment process. Known distance for the scale bars should be input to the source values of the Reference pane.

But if you have issues with the image alignment maybe you can post some examples of the images you are processing? If the dataset is not very large (less than hundred of images) you can disable the preselection and use High accuracy. Otherwise use Generic preselection option for faster processing.
