Is this at all configurable like z-remesher?  Control curves?  Anything?

I see no reason why you can't export mesh.. UV and quad however you want, re-import, and build texture with "keep UV" .. or am I missing something in that software?  Didn't see much in that link.  :)

Photoscan can build a texture onto an imported object?

Hello GeoffKornfeld,

If the imported object is a polygonal mesh that fits the coordinate system space of the cameras, then you can build the texture for it.
