Photscan on Fedora 14?????
« on: July 05, 2012, 12:00:52 AM »
Hi guys,

We extracted the .tar.gz on the Desktop & cd into the photoscan folder. Starting the program get various issues:
1. photoscan.sh gives: bash: photoscan.sh: command not found...
2. ./photoscan.sh gives: error while loading shared libraries: libaudio.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
We did a yum install libaudio.so.2 & got 2 dependencies installed; restarted & still same issue
3. ./photoscan gives: error while loading shared libraries: libcholmod.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Any ideas? Like putting this in /usr/...??? Or does this only work in Debian/Ubuntu?

Thank you!!!
Jeremy

Hello Jeremy,

The second way is the only correct from three.

There may be some problems with missing libraries. Could you please check the mentioned library is installed successfully?

Hi Alexey,
Thank you for the quick response!
Doing the "yum install libaudio.so.2" downloaded the 2 dependencies yesterday: nas-libs.i686(v1.9.2-1.fc14) & libXt.i686(v1.0.7-1.fc13). The libaudio.so.2 (symlink) & libaudio.so.2.4 (file) are installed at /usr/lib

We are running Fedora 14 64-bit (x86_64) on 4 AMD Opteron 6172's

Do we need to put the photoscan folder somewhere other than the Desktop?

Thank you!
Jeremy
