Network process fine-level task distribution
« on: February 25, 2016, 04:47:22 PM »
Hi, I am using more than 10 PC in a Network process Cluster. I have few chunk with large number of photo so I use  fine-level task distribution.

My question is why photoscan don't use all node available for task. for example for build dense cloud it use 2 node for a project or 4 node for another project but never use all node available.

Is there any parameter or circumstances that photoscan choose how many nodes assigned to a task?

Hello,

Probably, the processing task is not too large to be split between many processing nodes.

In the Agisoft Monitor window (in the nodes column) you can see that the second number indicates the max possible nodes that can be used for the actual task.
