Orthomosaic import into QGIS
« on: October 04, 2023, 10:33:35 PM »
Hi,

I've created an orthomosaic in Metashape using drone photos with PPK positioning. The resulting accuracy is about 5 cm referenced to high-precision ground check points. The entire project used WGS 84 (EPSG: 4326). However, when I export the orthomosaic (again WGS 84) and load it into QGIS (project is also WGS 84), the error compared to ground check points increases by 3 or 4 times. Is there an approach to maintaining the excellent correspondence I see in the Agisoft viewer?

Thanks for any suggestions!
