How to use Sequoia calibration target with Photoscan
« on: September 07, 2016, 04:41:12 PM »
Hello,
I have a Sequoia multispectral camera.

This camera is supplied with a calibration target: the pilot should take a picture either immediately before or after the flight, and it should need to calibrate the camera with the current environmental condition (sun etc...)

I know that using softwares similar to Photoscan, one should import this image to calibrate the project... for example at the project creation.

Do you know how can I do using Photoscan?

Thanks!

Hello mfran2002,

Currently image calibration using the reflectance panel is not supported by PhotoScan, but we have such requests already and are working on this feature.

So I'll move the topic to the Feature Requests topic.

When can we use the sequoia target in photoscan? Is there any way to do this? When will the next update that will allow it to come out?
I think it's something that interests many of us.
Sorry for my english but I'm spanish speaking

Hello almarrei,

Release of 1.3.0 wouldn't have this feature yet, but it may be available in later 1.3.x updates.

Is there any way though the sea with another application can use target calibration and then work with photoscan?

I do not want to have another program of sewing images. I prefer photoscan.

But you need to use the target.

Greetings and thank you

You have photos of the target taken with the camera? One option is to apply radiomateric correction after to the mosaic in a GIS (raster calculator) or image processing program.

(1) Obtain histogram of ROI from photos of target - one for each channel of the image
(2) Determine relations (at simplest level, ratios) of target known reflectance or albedo value and intensity from histogram
(3) Apply these ratios as correction values to each channel of mosaic (or in equation for vegetation index).

Thank you very much.
I'll try.
Anyone know where to find the right tutorial?
Does ArcGis equal the QGIS?

Hello all,

The use of Reflectance calibration panels for MicaSense RedEdge and Parrot Sequoia cameras will be implemented in the version 1.4.0.

At the same time it would be possible to use the EXIF meta-data for radiometric correction.

Hello

What is the release time for 1.4.0 version?

Already have sequoia and cannot find any way to make calibration except pix4d software.

Did any1 found how to use sequoia calibration target on agisoft 1.4.0?

If so, please describe the workflow!
