Calculating height above ground measurements?

I am attempting to generate world files (jpw and tfw) for my UAV imagery, but in order to do so I require the height above ground for the cameras, but PhotoScan returns the absolute altitude for the cameras. It seems like it would be relatively simple to include that data by calculating the difference between the camera altitude and the altitude of the ground directly below it.
