"Select dense cloud points by color" option in Tools menu with picktool

Hi to all,
it will be really usefull give the posibility to select the color of point in the dense cloud with some picking tool.

Maybe I cannot use correctly the function. Can you explain please to me how can I pick a color from a dense cloud to filter it?
