Using Generic GCPs
« on: December 07, 2016, 04:05:19 AM »
Hi
Is it possible to have automatic marker detection for generic GCPs like crosses for aerial imagery?  I'm trying to use the coded markers but I can't seem to get PS to recognise the markers despite printing them to larger than A0 and flying at 50m AGL.  Any suggestions?

Cheers

Hello Art,

In the following document you can find two types of the non-coded targets that can be detected by the actual version of PhotoScan:
http://www.agisoft.com/pdf/PS_1.1_Tutorial%20(IL)%20-%20Coded%20Targes%20and%20Scale%20Bars.pdf

The detection of non-coded targets should be performed after the camera alignment and may require manual target renaming after they are detected.
