Yaw, Pitch & Roll
« on: December 14, 2016, 07:50:16 PM »
I had Yaw, Pitch and & Roll for info for UAV pictures but forgot to and forgot to import it.  Does that hurt me?  I think it probably took longer to align photos,  will that be the only effect?

Hello davidsumner,

Loading yaw, pitch, roll information is usually not required and can be skipped.  They are important mostly in two cases:
1. High-precision on-board GPS/IMU device that is shifted from the camera position, and no GCPs. Should be used in combination with Offset values in the Camera Calibration window.
2. Considerably oblique imagery in the dataset when Reference preselection may be incorrect. In this case should be used in combination with Ground Altitude parameter in the Reference pane settings dialog.

Hello,
We have high precision IMU unit and i want to use Yaw, Pitch and Roll data to make photogrametry. Is there a way to use these datas in your software?

Xmp or xml type, or in metadata exif?
