Photoscan model export
« on: December 19, 2016, 02:13:19 PM »
Hello All,

I am glad I joined this great community. We are having the need to import the model created in Photoscan to Autodesk ReVit. Revit will accept .rcp or .rcs extensions. Could you advise if importing model (preferably dense cloud or model with texture) created in Photscan to import to Autodesk apps or any other BIM app?

Thank you in advance.
Damir

Dear Damir,

.rcp and .rcs are PointCloud-Formats from Autodesk ReCap.  You can import various PonitCloud Formats in Autodesk Recap and save them as Recap-Projekt (.rcp = Multiple Clouds in 1 File).
My Advise is to reduce the PointCloud density in Recap before importing it into Revit.
