Build DEM grid size overflow
« on: January 04, 2017, 01:53:11 AM »

Hi,

building my DEM and getting a "Grid Size Overflow" error.

Running v1.2.6 build 2834 (64 bit) version on an i7 2.8GHz with 32GB of RAM, 64 bit Windows 7 Enterprise

Thanks,

Greg

Hello Greg,

Is the model georeferenced correctly? The resolution looks very strange on your screenshot.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I believe it is geo-referenced correctly.

Attached is a different project which worked no worries.

I'm not seeing a lot of difference between the two apart from being in a different projection zone.
I was able to get a very result from the 2nd project. The orthomosaic and DEM look good.
I have exported the points to LAZ and imported into Euclidean Geoverse software and it looks very good.

Cheers
Greg

Hello Greg,

Can you re-save the project to PSZ (PhotoScan Archive) format and send it to support@agisoft.com? To reduce the file size you can remove the dense cloud, depth maps and mesh, if these products are present in the project.

Hello Greg,

Thanks for providing the problematic project. It seems that the marker 110 is leading to the incorrect georeferencing - the model is not properly oriented in space.

Hi Alexey,

Thanks, I found the same thing in my re-processing this morning.
Marker 110 was incorrect in the ground control file I was supplied.

Interesting that the program still tried to "bend" the project to the erroneous marker when it was a long way wrong.
I would of hoped that it would tell me a problem exists with adjustment to a marker it would flag and stop the adjustment. Is there somewhere I should have seen that?

Regards,

Greg
