disk write speed when saving
« on: August 23, 2012, 12:30:31 PM »
I don;'t know the ins and outs of hardware but I get the impression that agisoft could write data to disk at a greater speed - has anyone else found this?

At the moment it saves a project at 10MB/s on average and the drive is not in use by anything else (1TB 7200 RPM)

thanks

PSZ file is a "ZIP" so it must be compressed firs, but 10 MB is very slow, are you using Win7 - use TASK MANAGER and ther on bottom clck on RESOURCE MONITOR, then on DISK and watch the real write speed.. let us know then
