Which operating system? Does it matter?

Whilst using agisoft, has anyone ever switched operating systems?

Did you notice any change in performance?

Would anyone expect there to be a difference or does using opencl standardise everything?

I'm on windows 7 currently but wouldn't mind ubuntu if performance is better

teoreticaly on LINUX you shold get little better performance, but it depend od drivers from AMD/NVIDIA for the GPUs. aprox 3-10 % but it neeed few tests......
