Black texture for all other than 4096x1
« on: February 28, 2017, 07:15:26 PM »
Hey All,

Long time forum reader, first time poster, thanks to all for your contributions...

I'm having trouble with generating textures using any parameters other than 4096x1. When I use any other parameters for texture atlas size or count, the resulting texture is pitch black. I've researched other posts with similar problems, and am sure interpolation is enabled when generating mesh.

I often produce models of large scale cultural heritage objects that demand high resolution textures for viewing fine details. I've been able to produce textures up to 16384 in the past, but I think this was before updating to Version 1.3.0. My processor and graphics card aren't the best, so I've had trouble viewing models with textures of this size in the past, although producing them was not a problem.

Another note, I noticed that models produced prior to updating with textures other than 4096x1 are now black as well, so it seems to be a visualization problem, not necessarily processing...

Using a 2010 Macbook Pro
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
16 GB RAM

- Interpolation is enabled when building mesh
- Mapping mode: Generic
- Blending mode: Mosaic
- Hole filling is enabled

Thanks for any suggestions!
