markers positions

Hi,

I have a question regarding the markers positions. I have spread evenly the markers on a horizontal plane. Is it really necessary to have some markers with z coordinates to scale the model correctly given that I want to measure the volume at the end?

If you have the markers in different hight. Then, you will get accurate result.
It depends on the accuracy.

Hello Mina,

All reference points in PhotoScan should have X, Y and Z coordinates defined. You can only use very low accuracy for Z value, if you wish to set a priority to XY coordinates.
