Importing GCP in other coordinatesystem
« on: August 30, 2012, 03:17:53 PM »
Hello!

I have a generated a nice looking DSM in WGS84 - UTM33N.
My customer has supplied me with GCPs in Sweref99 - 1330.
Is there a way to import them and at the same time convert them to WGS84 - UTM33N.
Or, should i change my DSMs coordinates to Sweref99 1330 and then import the GCPs?

Hello Johan,

It is better to use GCPs in their original coordinate system.
So before importing GCP data it is necessary either to convert camera coordinates into new coordinate system using "Convert" button on the Ground Control pane, or to remove/uncheck all cameras in the Ground Control pane. After the previous step is done the coordinate system should be properly set to the one from GCPs using Ground Control pane settings. And after that the marker coordinates should be imported or input manually.
