Compact dense cloud problem
« on: March 04, 2017, 03:15:17 PM »
Photoscan 1.3
After editing dense point cloud (deleting unwanted points) and  choosing  from Tools menu -> Compact Dense Cloud,
part of dense cloud model appears as sparse cloud and part as dense. Subsequently created mesh model is ok, textured model is ok.

error : Null Image( many times)

Hello karad,

Yet we are not able to reproduce the issue. Do you have the same problem on any project?

Are you also performing any additional steps, like classification, before compacting the cloud?

Hi Alexey,
I was just editing, no classification. I use the basic module of photoscan 1.3.
I open the project again  and I noticed that when I move the arrow cursor on the model window on the console pane appear the message ERROR : null file repeatedly  during cursor movement. When the cursor is outside the model window the printing error: number is stopped.
In the mean time I reproduced the dense point cloud with the same sparse point cloud and everything is ok.
I attach the console pane output.
Thank you for your answer.

Hello karad,

We were able to reproduce the issue on the version 1.3.0 build 3772, but it seems to be already fixed in our internal build. So in the next version it wouldn't appear.
