clGetPlatformIDs failed: CL_UNKNOWN_ERROR_CODE_-1001
« on: March 15, 2017, 12:05:23 PM »
I am running the Photoscan version 1.3 on a Titan XP.

From what I read in the changelog, Photoscan now prefers CUDA. Titan XP has CUDA, why the OpenCL error?
Is Photoscan CUDA/OpenCL mixed, or do I still have to do something to run on CUDA?

Hello Andrei,

Do you have only one GPU installed in your system? No integrated graphics, like Intel HD, for example?

Also the message may appear if there are some issues with the installed OpenCL drivers for NVIDIA card or there are any other devices that do not have proper drivers installed, but it shouldn't affect the processing, as for NVIDIA cards CUDA technology is utilized in PhotoScan 1.3.

But if possible, please provide the Console pane output from the beginning to this error and also clinfo output.
