Export Orthophotos based on fixed elevation

Is there a way, to export Orthophotos based on a fixed elevation instead of a DEM or PointCloud?

You can import the flat model (DEM or mesh) and use it as a source for the orthomosaic generation process.

But I have to create individual ortho images of each camera: Tools -> Export -> Export Orthophotos ...

It seems, that this export function is not using the DEM as height source.

What could be the best way to get individual ortho images with constant height?

Hello Yvo,

Individual orthorectified images are created during Build Orthomosaic step, using the source that has been selected as a surface option.
Export Orthophotos is just saving this images, they are not recalculated.

So if you import mesh or DEM that has constant height and use it as a source for the orthomosaic generation procedure, the next step will save you individually orthorectified images.

Orthophotos are IMHO never 3D. if you analyze the corresponding .tfw-file, you will only find the X and Y coordinates. Z ist not possible.

but depending on your software, you can lay the orthophoto over a DEM (for visualization)
