Photoscan and AWS
« on: March 21, 2017, 09:41:44 AM »
I've seen a lot of posts on the forum about running Photoscan on AWS. I can appreciate that if I am choosing to run Photoscan on a single AWS instance instead of my own computer that would be OK. But what if I have a really large amount of data and wanted to run multiple instances of Photoscan on AWS at the same time?

Does my current single user Photoscan Pro license allow me to do this, or do I need a floating license? If I need a floating license, will it work on AWS instances?

Hello Ziggie,

Each computer that has PhotoScan installed and working should be activated with the separate node-locked license. In case of floating license it will take one license from the server, thus reducing the available floating license count by one.
