IR and quality
« on: September 10, 2012, 09:19:06 AM »
Hi,
I am wondering about resulting mosaic quality.
To what a degree the resulting mosaic is modified in terms of comparision with the original imagery in JPG? Does the mosaic keep all the information from the individual images.
I cope with IR imagery and I wonder what is the best way to proceed: either extracting red channel from all the individual images first and then processing them with PS or from the resulting mosaic?

George

Could you share some IR photos to do a test?
I ask this because I have this same question and would like to know how this will work.

Hello George,

In case source images are multi-channel PhotoScan export each channel separately (starting from version 0.9.0) and the resulting mosaic will be also multi-channel.
