AWS Windows Setup
« on: April 18, 2017, 05:45:21 AM »
Has anyone had any recent luck with running Photoscan Pro on a ec2 Windows 2016 instance lately?  It's been a while since I've tried to run this way.

I'm currently getting an error that states the OpenGL on the instance won't load the text properly, then the program loads to a black screen.  I used to run old versions of Photoscan on both c3 and g2 instances with no problems.  Now I must be missing something.

Hello amckee,

I suggest to use Teamviewer instead of WIndows Remote Desktop that is causing OpenGL issue. If you'd like to use RD, then press Alt+T in "black" screen of PhotoScan to open Tools menu, select Preferences and then try to switch there to Hardware stereo to redraw the interface.

Thanks for the quick reply Alexey!  I'll give it a try.
