Photoscan 1.3x significant slower than 1.2x
« on: May 09, 2017, 11:22:04 AM »
Hello,
i updated 3 computers with the last photoscan software. Since than photoscan is significant slower.
Same camera nearly same number of photos. Mostly for dense cloud calculation.
Is this normal?

Sincerely Sven

Hello Sven,

Can you please provide the computer specification (CPU, GPU, RAM), processing log from the latest version and also screenshot of the chunk info dialog from the older version, so that we could compare the timing for the same stage.

Hello Sven,

Processing log can be found in Console pane and can be also redirected to the text file using the corresponding option in the Preferences window.

Which step of the dense cloud generation takes longer time: depth maps calculation or dense cloud generation itself?
