Camera Alignment Problems
« on: May 14, 2017, 09:12:37 PM »
Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. I'm using the demo version and this is my first post. I'm planning on buying the software if i can get it to work.
I've taken around 20 images of a small statue by moving around it as described in tips and tricks. I import the images and mask out the background.
My problem is that when I generate the point cloud only a few of the cameras gets used (front view) the rest don't show up in the point cloud. The missing images/cameras shows up as NA (not aligned). I have no idea how to proceed. The tutorial don't cover this and I can't find anything in the FAQ or the forum.
I've tried two types of cameras and two computers. Any help would be most helpful :)

Try different lighting and be sure to make sure there is plenty of overlap.  I'm no expert by any means but I've done some with Aerial footage

Hello Oskarsson,

Can you please send the link to the image set to support@agisoft.com or post the overview of the images here?

The common reasons that can lead to a similar problem are the following: insufficient image overlap, lack of features on the surface texture, poor image quality.
Best regards,
