Zero Success Many Tries
« on: May 24, 2017, 01:37:22 AM »
I am having ZERO success getting anything to render in PhotoScan. I have done multiple shoots, multiple imports, masked off all my images, and all my images have quality well over 0.6,  and still get absolutely nothing but scattered dots after aligning and generating point cloud.

I'm using a Canon EOS with a prime 50mm lens, everything is set to manual, I'm at f22, ISO 200. I'm currently just trying to shoot a rock indoors under even lighting.

What am I not doing?

Hello viciousesque,

Do you have masks for all the images and do you enable "Constrain Features by mask" option in the Align Photos dialog?

F22 gives a lot of blur due to diffraction, keep this in mind
I also remind you that focus should be fixed during the entire process otherwise your lens changes geometry between different photos and the lens model will be inconsistent
