Markes without Lat/Long in referenced Model
« on: June 13, 2017, 03:24:30 PM »
Hello!!
Iam wondering why Markes that are placed in a referenced model doesnt contain Lat/Long/Alt information.
Right now iam extracting the GPS info from the DEM where i can recognize the marker positions and the copy GPS into the marker( i guess not the standard way ???). But why is the marker not referenced in a referenced model? Do i miss something?`
Thanks for helping!

Hello toffersan,

The Source values tab contains the information that is loaded from the external sources, actually, these values should be measured by GPS/topographic equipment. If you wish to get the coordinates of the points that are estimated by PhotoScan, you need to switch to the Estimated values tab.

Thanks! I was looking for the estimated values! ;)
And is  it possible to export the estimated coordinates to another project?

Hello toffersan,

You can use Export CSV button on the Reference pane and select Save Estimated values option in the dialog.

Upon import you can use those estimated columns as source values, providing that the new project has markers with the same labels.
