Navigating in photo while masking

Hi all,
Is there a way to use a selection tool (ex: "intelligent scissor while masking") while zoomed in on an image then move the image to be able to continue the selection without disrupting this selection?

I'm trying to be clear so I'll rephrase this question to be more specific:
I'm currently masking images. In order to make a good selection I have to zoom in the image. The problem with zooming in is that it seem impossible to move my view on the picture without breaking my current, in progress, selection. My current workaround is to zoom out then zoom back in on the zone where I want to add a new point to the selection. This is not a comfortable process. What I want to do is to be able to move in the image while in the process of creating a selection. Is this possible?

Hello lapinchatware,

After placing the mask vertex (when using Intelligent scissors), hols Shift on the keyboard and navigate with the left mouse button to the area of interest, then release Shift and place next vertex of the mask.

It appears the shift key to navigate while drawing or selecting feature has been removed? I can rotate with right mouse button but am unable to pan?

Hello!

 I have a mouse with a button enabled scroller. I am able to use that button within the scroller as the one to move the image while I am masking without messing up or adding weird points to the mask.
