Documentation on smoothing mesh

Hi,

 I'm smoothing a mesh in Tools and am wondering if there's any documentation on the tool. What do the numbers mean?

The question stays the same... Nice command, but what is the STRENGTH number? Can you explain that function, please? I am using 10 and it irons all my bushes, but how accurate is it?
