Incremental name change for auto-save in batch
« on: October 05, 2012, 11:28:27 AM »
Photoscan has an option to save the project after every step during a batch process.

For me it is often interesting to create meshes in LOW and ULTRA HIGH - but that can't be done via a batch process.

Could alter please the option so that one can additionally choose to have the name altered (*_01.psz, *_02.psz, etc) with every save?

This is an interesting idea. I have some machines that can be a bit temperamental, meaning they could crash during a save during batch process. If I have a .psz with 10 scan in (1GB file) and I ahven't backed up after each batch process and it crashes during save, loss of work : (

Or even better the ability to save out individual .psz scenes as it goes through the batch. As saving a 1GB file after each process means the file grows and grows and the save takes longer and longer after each Chunk process.

Increment save option is a good idea though. _01.psz, _02.psz or what ever
