How many GPUs can Photoscan support

I am contemplating building a crypto-currency mining rig. if.when mining becomes unprofitable that rig be viable as a Photoscan processing rig? I would certainly upgrade CPU, etc at that point.

I've heard about experiments on cloud services with 8 GPUs.

However, since there are stages that are using CPU only, quite fast processor is also required. Also if the sample project size is not that large, you may not see considerable boost from big number of GPUs.
