eyebrows bleeding onto side of eye - Texturing
« on: July 05, 2017, 05:15:54 PM »
Hey,

Having a small issue with the texturing process in Photoscan.

All the scans are projecting a part of the eyebrows onto the side of the eye. Is there anyway to avoid this?

I'm not trying to be rude, but this question may be better to put in the Face and Body Scanning forum @ http://www.agisoft.com/forum/index.php?board=18.0

The eyelashes will always be projected somewhere, and if they aren't modelled then they will be projected onto the first bit of mesh that gets in the way.

The answers would be something like one of the following:

1. mask out eyelashes from each photo in which they occlude part of the face that shouldn't have eyelashes projected onto it.
2. edit the texture in photoshop etc afterwards
3. shave eyelashes before scanning
4. meticulously model each eyelash

@Jeremiah - Sorry, new to the forum.. should have checked through all the categories first. My bad!

@James - That makes sense. I'll just hand-edit the textures after projecting onto workable topology.

Thanks for the help
