Unable to Mask
« on: July 28, 2017, 09:24:46 PM »
Hello All,

I recently lost the feature of masking photos in the professional version, it worked up until yesterday. It happened once before, but was resolved by closing out the program. I am unable to select an area to mask or to drop a marker, the key will be selected but it will not function. I am able to edit the dense cloud and 3D model, but not the photos. Before assuming it's a software issue, I'd like to ask if any of you have had this issue before. Is there a "read only" selection I am missing?

Thank you for your help,

Garrett

Hello Garrett,

Show Shapes button is not related to the mask drawing. To display/masks you need to use Turn Shading On/Off button.

So shape drawing functionality is also unrelated to masks. There's special set of tools related to masking: Rectangle Selection, Intelligent Scissors, Intelligent Paint, Magic Wand.
