I only have points with XY coordinates
I do not have height data
I try to import an import
But the markers I created in the program do not take the coordinates.

Do I have to have a reference on the height?

Unfortunately you need 3D coords for the reference points
It would be nice to be able to use a pair of 3D points and a few 2D control points or just elevations.
After all only 7 coords are required for the similarity transformation
