clip a model?

I just learned how to use a polygon to clip the orthohoto.   Is it possible do a similar thing with the model?

Unfortunately that's not possible within PhotoScan, as far as I know.
I think that this topic has already been mentioned in the FEATURE REQUEST section of the forum. It might be a new feature in a future release.

You could, however, use CloudCompare (free & open source) to clip your model (dense point cloud or mesh) using the same polygon. Simply export it as a SHP file and then use it as your segmentation boundary in CloudCompare. Here are the details: http://www.cloudcompare.org/doc/wiki/index.php?title=Interactive_Segmentation_Tool
